  • Assist in finding evidence-based information on different topics regarding pregnancy, childbirth, newborn and postpartum.

Postpartum Doula

As your Postpartum Doula, I’m here to provide a listening ear and a steady shoulder to lean on — minus the judgment.

I empower you with evidence-based information on many topics including infant feeding — breast, bottle, or both — Mother-baby bonding, provide soothing techniques for fussy babies and basic newborn care. I am able to answer any questions you may have about typical newborn and infant behavior as well as share coping skills for new or seasoned parents.

I focus heavily on maternal recovery with an emphasis on maternal and paternal mental health, holistic recovery, inner work & self-care during this vulnerable time.

My Postpartum care services can include:

  • Release/Meditation Session

  • Assisting with baby’s first bath.

  • Assist with set up of a spiritual herb bath.

  • Care for baby while you catch up on sleep, a shower, a meal or whatever it is your heart desires.

  • Empowering parents to achieve short & long term self-care success.

  • Creating vision boards, journaling, inner work.

Childbirth Education

doula-image-7.jpeg

My Childbirth Education Course is here to help you and your partner build confidence in your body’s ability to give birth and be prepared for this new way of life.

You will find a safe place to discuss your fears about labor and birth with me and other couples who hold the same concerns and questions.

You and your partner will learn all about the process of childbirth and how to best guide and support each other on your family’s special day. We will discuss pain relief options including breathing techniques, labor positions, massage, relaxation, medications, and more!

If you are looking for a more comprehensive knowledge that is centered around the birthing person and partner, my Childbirth Education Course provides just that.

While classes at your local hospital may include a very basic overview of labor and birth, my course will expand your knowledge to include the physiology behind labor, birth, and postpartum and your newborn.

My mission is to provide information that empowers you to make informed decisions, develop coping skills, know your childbirth options and so much more.

When you leave my class, I can assure you, you will leave with every question answered!

Childbirth Education

I currently teach the Birth and Beyond method—which is a well rounded, inclusive curriculum that covers mental, emotional and physiological knowledge. It is everything I needed before having my own daughter. I highly recommend every birthing person take a childbirth education course or workshop of choice. These courses cover more topics than you can think of from what to expect during pregnancy, labor + birth, newborn to postpartum. I make sure you leave feeling fully prepared to take it all on when you walk out the door. Smaller workshops + private classes are also available.
