Childbirth Education
A Note About Insurance:
Most insurance companies do not explicitly cover doulas or childbirth courses. There are, however, steps you can take to convince your insurance company to offer at least partial coverage. As hiring doulas for childbirth and taking the time to educate yourself through childbirth education courses becomes more common, so too will insurance coverage. Some—but not all—insurance companies will cover all or part of the cost of a doula or childbirth education course. Check with your insurance company to find out!
